RELO: No.

TRAVEL: 25% - 30%

POSITION TYPE: Direct Hire

APPROXIMATE PAY RATE: Competitive

JOB DESCRIPTION: Major Responsibilities:
* Apply human resources tools and processes across the organizationto ensure the appropriate people, processes and structure are in place to achieve business results
* Analyze performance management, personal development and humanresource plans; develop and implement appropriate training and development opportunities to meet individual and organizational needs
* Develop and implement recruiting and hiring strategies utilizinginternal talent and external resources to meet current and future business needs
* Apply and implement local and corporate HR policies, as required
* Administer salaried and sales compensation plans; Provide periodic compensation training to managers
* Provide positive employee relations support to client groups
* Champion opportunities for division-wide best practice sharing and standardization of processes
* Provide leadership and support as needed for safety and well-beinginitiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
* Four-year degree in human resources, business or related field
* 5 - 7 years professional human resources experience
* Prior experience in a marketing and sales organization preferred
* Knowledge of sales incentive compensation plans a plus

* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
* Strong presentation skills, including both creation and delivery
* Demonstrated proficiency using MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred

Other requirements:
* Willing and able to travel overnight 25 - 30% of the time

PLUSSES:
* Experience with college recruiting and cooperative education programs preferred
* Knowledge of talent management systems a plus
* DDI facilitator certification a plus
* Willingness/ability to relocate to other American Standard sites in HR role preferred
