JOB DESCRIPTION: The BI/DW Segment Manager will create and manage a business plan thatsupports the AMD revenue plan by understanding the market dynamics ofhow AMD Client and Server based systems provide value to the BI/DW endcustomer.

The BI/DW Segment Manager will create a business plan that supports theAMD revenue plan by understanding the market dynamics of how AMD Clientand Server based systems provide value to the BI/DW end customer. Thisrequires understanding the size and growth of distinct parts of themarket, key players and includes focus on identification of multiplepotential solution sets that AMD may deliver.

The BI/DW Segment Manager will understand the unique wants and needs ofend customers, and then work closely with AMD's product teams to ensurethat offers that meet the needs of those customer groups are developed.Further, this manager will work closely with our Partner Center (ISV /IHV alliance teams) to ensure a solid solution stack is available forthe customers and then work closely with our Global and Regional Programs organizations in designing demand generation programsappropriate for each customer group. The Segment Manager will also beresponsible for ensuring market coverage through distribution and reseller channels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree 10+ years high tech marketing experience preferred.
* Hands-on experience in with enterprise commercial end customers, channels, messaging, marketing communication and demand generation programs.
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse market landscape &IT infrastructure applications.
* Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams.

PLUSSES:
* Field marketing or sales experience a plus.
* Global experience a plus
